Answer to question #5:

Thor-8-PCI board has 8 T1/E1/J1 line interfaces. Vidar-5x16-PCI is a DSP resource board equipped with 16 DSPs (TI TMS320C548).

Both boards are also equipped with a time-space switch and an H.100 board-to-board bus interface. Any timeslot on any line interface on the Thor-8-PCI board can be connected to any of the DSPs on the Vidar-5x16-PCI board using the H.100 bus. The physical connection is a H.100 ribbon cable. The software connection is performed by calling the OtxDrvConnectPipe() function. Please note that the H.100 bus must be terminated at each end. To terminate the H.100 bus on an OTX PCI board, switch the dip-switch labelled BS1 (typically located on the back of the board) to the ON position (for all 10 positions).
