RICHARDSON, Texas - October 5th, 2001 - Odin TeleSystems Inc., a Richardson-based communications technology company, announced Hanz Johansson as its new President and Chief Executive Officer.

Mr Johansson has more than 14 years of Telecom and communications experience in various facets of engineering, design and development. Innovative leadership and strong execution have been the hallmarks of his career. Mr Johansson is one of the founder members of Odin TeleSystems Inc and most recently served as the Vice President for Odin TeleSystems. Prior to that, he served in various engineering positions at Ericsson.

Hanz Johansson holds a Masters in Computer Sciences from Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden.
