RICHARDSON, Texas - November 20th, 2002 - Odin TeleSystems Inc., a Richardson-based communications technology company, is scheduled to exhibit its advanced next generation network and telecom adapters at the ITU Telecom Asia 2002 Trade Show.

ITU Telecom Asia 2002 will take place at the Hong Kong Convention Center in Hong Kong from 2nd December through 7th December. Odin will exhibit in booth 2128.

Odin will launch three new products at the trade show. The new products are a high density T1/E1/J1/ISDN network connectivity platform, a powerful DSP Resource board, and a T1/E1/J1 WAN adapter.

Odin's newest addition to the family of Thor series of cards, Thor-8-PCI-Plus offers the industry's highest density T1/E1/J1/ISDN network connectivity platform with up to 8 software-selectable T1/E1/J1 ports supporting DSU/CSU and fractional T1, H.100 telephony bus, 4 port codec in a single PCI slot. Thor-8-PCI-Plus has a 32-bit bus mastering DMA feature that makes it ideal for high-density applications like call logging, voice over IP applications. Additionally, the Thor-8-PCI-Plus PCI platform offers high-density voice and data processing at reduced costs, 256 channels per PCI slot, supporting tone signaling, caller ID, CAS, Robbed bit signaling, SLC96 TR-08 mode, BERT testing, record/play operations, as well as PSTN connectivity - important features for those developers building telephony and telecom testing applications.

Vidar-55x4-ASM is a powerful DSP daughter board that plugs onto any of Odin's PCI based network platforms. It uses four Texas Instruments TMS320VC5510 fixed point DSPs with 400 MIPS of processing power and 16MB external SDRAM each suitable for high-density process intensive applications and Voice over IP applications.

Odin's PCI DSU/CSU WAN access card, Sleipnir-1-PCI offers a full duplex software selectable T1/E1/J1 interface with DSU/CSU or fractional T1 and an optional Texas Instruments TMS320VC5510 DSP with 400MIPS of processing power. Sleipnir-1-PCI WAN card has a 32-bit bus mastering DMA feature. Sleipnir-1-PCI is supported by an NDIS driver, which facilitates easy integration with other network protocols. This card is suitable for LAN/WAN connectivity, telecom applications such as T1/E1/J1 line testing, or analysis of the transmitted data, voice logging and telephony applications.

Odin's PCI and PCMCIA based network adapters are supported by the award winning OTX (Odin Telecom frameworkX) open development platform, which comprises of the application program interfaces (API), software development kit (SDK) and the hardware driver supporting Windows98/Me/2000/NT/XP and Linux operating systems. Odin's OTX platform enables system integrators and developers to bring products to market quickly.
